Spring Bees

The pussy willows are loaded with bees right now. They are the first plant in the spring to provide pollen and nectar for hungry native bees and other beneficials. Wild bees are so important in agriculture and many years I have to hand pollinate the squashes and pumpkins when there aren’t many around. So, along with not spraying your dandelions consider planting a pussy willow in your yard to help these guys out. 👩‍🌾 🐝
